I’ve been putting my “work mix” to WORK these last weeks. It is a mash-up of easy listening, 00’s faves, indulgent pop, joyful musicals, and soaring Arias. It - at the same time - smacks of the musings of a melodramatic perimenopausal woman and a 17-year-old child. It’s fun, emotional and nostalgic. So, my official recommendation for this month is to say: revisit Backstreet Boy’s Millennium album.
Mary Roach is simply the best at tackling science and taboo with humor, wit and clarity. Truly, these are some of the most entertaining and educational books I’ve ever read. LOL Learning.
